Kinesiology training

The International Institute of Kinesiology Australia is an internationally accredited ICPKP boutique college offering the most comprehensive professional kinesiology training as a career pathway for people of all ages and backgrounds.
IIKA delivers nationally and internationally accredited kinesiology training programs with limited class sizes and close individual supervision of each student to ensure easy and fast learning of their kinesiology study.
 
We provide you with a rewarding career in the fastest growing field of Natural Therapies which enables you to start your successful practice as a Registered Kinesiology Practitioner (RKP) within only 12 months.
 
After completion of the first year the graduate has the option to complete the Diploma of Kinesiology on a part-time basis and then the International Graduate Diploma of Kinesiopractic. This is the highest qualification available in the field of Specialised Kinesiology today.
 
You will find our professional kinesiology training programs stimulating, inspirational & rewarding in many ways. We support and mentor our graduates in their transition from student to practitioner and some of our graduates continue their career pathway and become accredited mentors and/or ICPKP Instructors themselves.
 
IIKA is affiliated with Kinesiology Schools Australia, a registered training organisation (national provider number 30916). The Certificate IV (HLT 42812) and the Diploma of Kinesiology (HLT 51507) are nationally recognised kinesiology training courses. Students are eligible for Austudy: Certificate IV is accredited for 55 weeks including holidays and the Diploma is accredited for an additional 80 weeks including holidays.

Katha Jones

Katha Jones & Dr Bruce DeweKatha Jones is the Principal of IIKA and a Senior Faculty Member of the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice. She has been runing a successful private practice as a Specialised Kinesiologist for 14 years and qualified as the first Kinesiopractor in NSW. She brings a diverse range of skills to her teaching and has been an accredited Workplace Trainer in Adult Education since 1998. She has been successfully instructing adults from all walks of life for over 14 years and was a lecturer at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies and Nature Care College in Sydney for many years.
Her lectures are filled with passion, attention to detail, dynamic group discussions & loads of practical tips based on her extensive clinical experience.
 
Her extensive studies of specialised kinesiology, kinesiopractic, energy medicine, nutrition, naturopathy and bodywork have given her a deep understanding of the intricate nature of holistic healing.  Katha also incorporates a variety of advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques in her sessions which enhance the efficacy and lasting changes in her clients' recovery. New behaviours and thought patterns are the foundation for personal change and continuous growth.
 
Katha keeps abreast of the latest scientific and clinical research by regularly attending international forums, conferences and faculty training programs. On the 10 October 2012 she has been appointed as an accredited Instructor for the International Graduate Diploma in Kinesiopractic for Sydney.
  
She is a Professional Member of the Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA), the Australian Institute of Kinesiologists (AIK), the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), the Touch For Health Instructor Association Australia (TFHIAA) and an Honorary Member of the Wholistic Business Network (WBN).

Phil is an International Faculty member of the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice and a PKP Kinesiologist. He shares his practice with his wife Cassandra, a Clinical Nutritionist and NAET Practitioner in Erina, Central Coast.
 
With a background in Electrical Engineering and over 6 years experience running specialist training courses, he is a motivated, passionate and sought after trainer. He brings all of his previous experience to the table when he teaches and easily adapts his teaching style to a wide range of students to accomodate their individual learning styles and needs.
 
Katha and Phil are motivational and inspiring trainers who share their extensive knowledge, expertise and clinical experience. They continually delve into clinical research, thus constantly updating and researching new methods and modalities. Their lectures are filled with practical hands on tips, interesting case studies and moving stories of clients whose lives' have been transformed or saved with the power of kinesiology. They are passionate about imparting this powerful knowledge to Kinesiologists who are ready to take the first step.
